Mary Vogt has been an animal rights activist for 20 years, a vegetarian for 15 years and vegan for 3. Since childhood, Mary has adored all animals and has dedicated her life to trying to improve their lives.
She worked for In Defense of Animals as Senior Web Master, helped launch Animal Rescue Corps, and continues to work with smaller rescue groups with their web and outreach needs. Mary was a volunteer at the Wildlife Way Station, Los Angeles Animal Shelter, and fostered for many organizations.
Mary is determined to be a champion for the vegan lifestyle and expose people to the life-improving aspects of all things vegan. As a writer, budding photographer and filmmaker, web designer, animator, she is hoping to use her skills and experience to help change how the average person views our animal friends, as others to be respected, not commodities or things.
